Keenan Wilcox Obituary

He was born on March 8, 1958, in Hamlin, Texas, to Joanne Horn and William Southern Wilcox. He was the youngest of two children. Keenan attended Abilene High School.
He is survived by his mother, Joanne Horn; his four children: Keenan Wilcox II, Aimee Wilcox, Shandy Lusby, and Matthew Wilcox; three grandchildren; his aunt Vonda; and his cousins Amy and Robin. He is also survived by his dog Maxx, his loyal companion.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Southern Wilcox; his brother, Tony Wilcox; and his cousin, Sammy Wilcox and his beloved companion Cowboy.
Family and friends will gather together at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel, to celebrate Keenan's life.

Aunt Jo, Brenton and I, are saddened to hear from Aunt Vonda about Keenan's passing. We have fond memories of him, and wish that we could have been with you all during your vigils in those heart-rending days. Know that he is in that better world, and is among others, there, who loved him as you have. We are thinking of you, Aunt Jo, and extend our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your son, and our cousin. Love, Brenton and Tonya.

Just heartbreaking! I was just informed about Keenan. I did not know my prayers go out to all keenan's family I am so sorry for everyone's loss he was a good man! I hold alot of great memories from many years ago he was a good friend to everyone Rip

He was truly my best friend. He never waivered if I need him. He was always picking on me, that how I knew he cared! There will never be another Keenan. Not even close! I'm gonna miss my buddy! Fly high, my friend!
