Keith R. Chausse

Meriden- Keith R. Chausse, 64, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Midstate Medical Center, Meriden, after a grueling battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer.

Keith was born in Torrington on April 16, 1961, son of the late William and Gertrude (Louchen) Chausse, and was raised by Walter and Ann Stockman of Bristol, spending most of his adult life in Northwest Connecticut. He drove professionally for many years before entering retail, and had been a salesman for Doc's Motorcycle Parts for the 10 years leading up to his passing. Keith had formerly volunteered with the Winsted Volunteer Ambulance, was a proud member of the Brotherhood of United Bikers MC, enjoyed reminiscing with his fellow West Hill Camp alumni, and was most recently involved with the Woodford SnoBusters of Vermont. He was a jack-of-all-trades whose hobbies included snowmobiling, landscaping, camping, model building, and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Chausse; a brother, Dennis Chausse; a sister, Diane (Chausse) Morzella; several beloved grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, notably Susan and Krystal; his former spouse, Debbie Chausse; his step siblings and their extended families; and his cousins from Athol, MA. Keith was predeceased by his son, Shawn Chausse; and a sister, Carol Whalen.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 11:00a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 441 Torrington Rd., Litchfield. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington. Friends may call Monday, November 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect St., Torrington.
