Keith George Cole, 89, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025. He was born in Winner, MN on January 2, 1936 to John and Katie Cole.
After graduating from Warroad High School, Keith attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis to learn carpentery. He married the love of his life, Dorinne Ebert,in 1957 and they had three children: Jody, Jean, and Steve. Keith served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Erlangen, Germany for 12 months. He was proud to have served his country.
Keith worked as a carpenter for his entire career. He was creative and good at making or fixing almost anything. After retirement, Keith and Dorinne traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Vernon, his brother-in-law Swen, and his daughter Jean.
He will be missed greatly by his wife of 68 years, Dorinne, and his children, Jody Roseen (Gary) of Farmington, NM, and Steve Cole (Julie) of Duluth, MN. His memory will live on through his seven grandchildren and their families: Sarah Comstock, Rob Ransbotham-Cole (Anna), Eric Roseen (Ada), Leeah Smestad (Erik), Keily Bado (Sean), Reid Cole (Melissa), and Mitch Cole (McKenzie).
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
