Keith Dooley, 63, a life-long resident of Jonesboro went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was instrumental in the building of the first portion of the church. Having a servant's heart, he was the part-time youth minister for over 18 years, and was the head of security for Temple. He loved to bowl, hunt, fish, and all sports his children and grandchildren were involved with, the favorite sport was baseball. Keith was a farmer at heart and won numerous accolades including the 2019 ISR Award winner for BigIron Auctions. He was preceded in death by his son, Brenton Dooley; his mother, Oma Dooley; and brother David Dooley.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Angela Dooley, of the home; daughter, Kristen Cannon and husband Bobby of Somerville, Tennessee; sisters, Sandra Cates of Jonesboro; and Donna Wells of Brookland; four grandchildren, Anna, Adam, Abe and Aisen.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:00 AM, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Andy Neal and Jerry Jolly officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Paul King, Terry Grimes, Hunter Grimes, Michael Flores, Jimmy Philamlee, Josh Beardsley, Jeff Sanford and Keith Wells serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 Tuesday night at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

I want to apologize for this late entry as I just found about the passing of Keith. Keith worked for me at the Dana Plant in Jonesboro. He was a very hard worker and very good man. So, I want to send my Condolences to Keith's family and friends. Especially those from Dana. May you Rest in Peace my Friend.
