It was years between face-to-face visits, cousin... but always in my heart. I still remember the kindness you showed to me when I was in the Navy & stationed at Treasure Island. You were definitely the "Big Dog" as Joe Montana's "blind side" blocker during the 49-ers "glory years" -- you EARNED those SuperBowl rings!! My condolences to all in the family closer than I.

I would like to send my condolences to Keith's family. I am so sorry for your loss. Keith was my dad's (Fred Whaley) cousin & my grandma's (Marjorie) nephew. We are family although I have never had the pleasure of meeting him so I don't have a memory to share but I can say it was because of him I started watching football back in the 80's, he's the reason SF 49ers are & always been my favorite team & back in the 80's as a teenager & still I brag about my football playing cousins Keith & Jim Fahnhorst. I've kept up with their careers & that's why I feel like I knew him, & we are both part of an amazing, admirable & close-knit family & to lose one is heartbreaking. May you all find peace with his memory & keep faith in your hearts knowing he is in a better place, at peace & watching over you all until the day you join him in God's Loving Grace.
