Keith was born May 25, 1998 the son of David and Pamela (Goetschel) Fernandes. He graduated from Westminster Christian School. From the age of three Keith had a heart and talent for music and began playing the Bass, and went onto play the piano and the guitar. Music was in his blood. He enjoyed meditation, hiking, camping and anything that connected him to nature. He was writing music and also enjoyed Martial Arts. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, David Fernandes, Pamela (Rich Tinaglia) Fernandes, by his brothers, Jason (Regina) Fernandes, Kevin (Jordan) Fernandes, and Kyle (Yadira) Fernandes, by his sister-in-law Brenda (Marcus) Ohlenforst, his uncles, George Goetschel, Mickey (Katherine) Fernandes, and aunts, Rosemary (Fred) Carpenter and Gloria Fernandes. He is also survived by his nieces Miranda Kelly, Kiani Fernandes, Kaylisa Fernandes and Shaelyn Ohlenforst, by his nephews, Logan Fernandes and Tyler Ohlenforst, his great nephews, Jayden and Jameson Kelly and his great niece Stella Kelly.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, his Uncle Paul, brother David Ferndandes, Jr and nephew Kaden Ramzy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 5-8pm at DeFiore Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A second visitation will be held on Friday, May, 2, 2025 at 9am followed by a funeral service 10:30am at Fox Valley Church in Dundee. Burial will be at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to McHenry County NAMI.
