Keith Ford Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by MARTIN-HOLLIS FUNERAL HOME on Jan. 2, 2026.
Keith "Mike" M. Ford, 67, of Bardolph, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 25, 2025. He was born February 19, 1958, in Macomb, Illinois, to Keith W. and Phyllis M. (Bartlett) Ford. He married Cindy Riden on August 23, 1977, in Bardolph, and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Angie (Grant) Taylor of Bardolph and Christy "Crispy" (Robert) Cozadd of Monte Vista, Colorado; his beloved fur-baby, Bella; eight grandchildren, Kasarah (Deandre Smith) Riden, Britney Cozadd, Kaleb (Kelbie) Jones, Kolton Jones, Seth Cozadd, Logan Taylor, Nicole Taylor, and Mariah Taylor; five great-grandchildren, Zayne, Zander, Zakaree, Tate, and Penelope "Katelynn"; three siblings, Laura (Mike) Ford of Roseville, Illinois, Greg (Janis) Ford of Versailles, Illinois, and Todd (Ricci) Ford of Bardolph; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Kaytlyn Jones; a brother, David Ford; an aunt, Pargie; a nephew, Josh Bohlander; and his fur-baby, Jax.
Mike lived most of his life in Bardolph or the surrounding area. He spent the majority of his career working on different farms, King Seeley and Nor Forge factories and self-employed as a mechanic. He had a passion for the things that made life interesting and fun. He loved spending time deer hunting, enjoying the quiet of the outdoors. When he wasn't outside, he could often be found talking about aliens and Bigfoot, always fascinated by the unknown. Above all, he loved nothing more than his family and friends, who were the center of his life and brought him his greatest joy.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the many Help at Home caregivers over the years, specifically Teresa Kindhart and Josh Kline who provided Mike with compassionate care and support over the past few years.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of life on January 25, 2026, at the Bardolph Community Center from 2:00–5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the McDonough County Animal Shelter or the family.
