Keith Robert Gallegos was born to Felipe and Bridget Gallegos on June 26th, 1997, in La Junta, Colorado and departed life on December 15th, 2025, surrounded by family.
At the age of 6 months old, Keith had a life altering event that changed him in a way he never expected. Throughout his twenty-eight years of life Keith faced some very big obstacles and challenges, from long stays at Children's Hospital, to having his ankle broken during a hospital visit. However, no matter the pain, stress, or negative feedback Keith never stopped smiling. No matter who you were or what your situation was you could always find hope and happiness through Keith. His heart, bigger than his hugs, stretched to all.
Keith loved to travel with his family, from traveling to New Mexico to visit the churches, Amarillo to see the Cadillac Ranch, Las Vegas to take pictures with the ladies; Kansas to see the zoo and buy fireworks, or even just around Colorado to see the various zoos and family Keith was always eager for a new adventure. The only thing Keith loved more than traveling was eating. He loved being able to go to new places and try new things and you can trust no meal was too large for his appetite. Keith was the shining light in each of our lives and will truly be missed by all.
Keith Robert Gallegos is survived by his parents, Bridget Ann Gallegos of Las Animas, CO; Felipe Manuel Gallegos of Evans, CO; brother, Richard (Jennifer) Gallegos of La Junta, CO; sister, Embree Gallegos (Javier) of Las Animas, CO; grandmother, Betty Betancur of Las Animas, CO; grandfather, Eddie Rubio of Odessa, TX; godmother, Valorie Stephens of Las Animas, CO; goddaughter, Las Animas, CO; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins who love him dearly also survive.
