Keith Lester Harris, 72 of Old Forge, passed on Wednesday of a broken heart after the death of his Mother on November 9. Born in Washington, Dc on August 5, 1953, to the late Howard and Evelyn Harris. Keith was a 5 year dialysis patient at Davida, Old Forge and a proud Army Veteran. Keith loved his Harley, playing his banjo and guitar, as well when he played in a band in his younger years and he was also an excellent pool player. He had a favorite saying to his sister, “I’ll get to it”. Keith leaves behind his son, Keith, Ocala, FL, brothers Alan and LuAnn, Mesa AZ, Glenn, Ocala, FL, sister Denise Fueshko and David, Dunmore, half-brother, Tom Styler and Diane with his motorcycle friends, especially Sue, four grandchildren and a nephew Aaron. Keith worked his whole working life for Herf Jones.
Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, 9 am until 11 am at the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Avenue, West Scranton. Services will be officiated at 11 am in the funeral home by Pastor Robert Walls. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst Township. Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Army and the Dickson City Veterans Honor Guard.
