Keith Arnold Morris, 47, and Jill Lynn Ruble-Morris, 44, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, are being mourned by their loving families, following a fatal motorcycle crash. Keith is a son of Arnold A. and Barbara J. (Carothers) Morris of Dennison, Ohio. Jill is a daughter of Robert L. and Trudy L. (Berga) Ruble of Newport, Ohio near Marietta.
In addition to their parents, Keith and Jill are survived by their children, Sadee (companion, Cole Kinsey) Morris, Savanna Morris, and Trenton Morris. Keith is also survived by his brother, Chad Morris; nieces and nephews, Kylie, Shelby, Tyler, and Jarrett; great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen, Kruz, Kamri, Emry, Ava, Livi, and Ezzy; and a number of aunts and uncles, including Christa Morris, with whom he was especially close. Jill leaves behind her brother, Todd (Niki) Ruble; sister, Christina (Tim Vogel) Ruble; nieces and nephews, Joslynn, James, Justin, Kaylee, and Kylie; great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia, Carter, Skylar, and Canaan; and several aunts and uncles. They will also be missed by their dear canine family, Bently, Rolls, and Sebastian.
Keith was born June 21, 1977 in Wheeling, West Virginia, grew up in Harrison County, and was a 1995 graduate of Jewett-Scio High School before attending Belmont Technical College. He was currently employed by Culligan Water in Dover, and had previously worked at IMCO Recycling and Belden Brick. He died on June 2, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio.
A Uhrichsville resident for the past 20 years, Jill was born November 13, 1980 in Marietta, Ohio, grew up in Newport, Ohio, and was a 1999 graduate of Frontier Local High School. While living in Uhrichsville, she was a manager at Certified in Uhrichsville many years before taking up a position as a cook at Claymont High School where she was currently working. She was killed instantly in the June 1, 2025 accident in Tuscarawas County.
Together, Keith and Jill loved spending time together riding their Harley-Davidson motorcycle – especially attending charity bike runs, like the one they were headed home from on Sunday which benefitted children in need – and enjoyed membership in the Yellowjackets Motorcycle Club in Uhrichsville. They will both be remembered for their remarkable gifts for kindness and generosity, always opening their hearts and home to area youth. They spent many happy times camping at Twin Hills in Freeport, loved fishing and hunting together, and most of all, they treasured the time that they spent with their family and friends.
Keith loved coaching softball and mentoring young men and women, and his leadership made a real difference in many lives. His kids were the light of his life, and everything he did was for them. Keith was also a jack-of-all-trades who could build or fix almost anything, and was known to drop whatever he was doing to help a friend – or a stranger, for that matter! He was always the life of the party and could often be heard bellowing out, "Go Big or Go Home!". When she wasn't busy with Keith, Jill loved spending time gardening, especially growing sunflowers – her favorite, and you would never catch her without her three "fur-babies" who were her pride and joy.
Family and friends are invited to call at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, Ohio from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, prior to Pastor Jim Shamel officiating a 2:00 p.m. funeral service. Keith and Jill will be interred in Newport Cemetery in Washington County, near Marietta, following an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Friday, June 6. Those wishing to honor their memories by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Yellowjackets Motorcycle Club, P. O. Box 623, Uhrichsville, OH 44683, in lieu of flowers.
