Keith Jones Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Anderson Funeral Service - New Brunswick on Dec. 9, 2025.
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Philippians 1:6

Pastor Keith Jones was born in New Brunswick, NJ on March 24, 1959, moments after his identical twin brother, Kevin Jones, New Brunswick, NJ. Making him second youngest child of nine to the parents of Pink Jones and Rosie Jones. Along with his twin brother and older brother Tommy, he made a name for himself excelling at several sports including track & field and football. He graduated from New Brunswick High School, class of 77 and attended Rutgers University, Livingston College.

Keith Jones would later find his forever love, Donna L. Jones. A true "love at first sight" story, they married just after 6 weeks of dating in 1980 and started their family in New Brunswick, NJ. They were blessed with four children. Alysha, Keith II, Eric, and Joshua. His love for his family became his life. Whether it was sports, music, art, vacations, the holidays, Keith went the extra mile. Christmas being his favorite holiday. His love language was giving, and that love was expressed to not only his family, but to anyone he came in contact with.

Keith Jones was introduced to what would become his church home by his twin brother and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1980 and accepted the call to ministry in 1981 under the covering of Pastor Clarence Harper at Greater Full Gospel Church, New Brunswick, NJ. He received intense teaching of God's word from the mother of the church (Mother Lillian Ford). Along with attending the Easter Bible College in Irvington, NJ for a degree in Teaching and Evangelism. He served as Pastor of Grace Worship Center in Somerset, NJ. He preached with a style that was relatable, making complex spiritual ideas accessible and even through the art of food. Is favorite word when preaching "Come on Somebody". His compassionate heart and generous spirit, was always opened to those in need, offering hope and healing through his way of making you feel like family.

Keith had a number of early jobs that he devoted everything he had to building, but his real drive was ownership. Along with his brother, Kevin. They started Twins Carpet Cleaning. A family company, he operated for almost 30 years until officially retiring in 2019.
