Funeral service for Keith Monroe Jones will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Pocasset First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Keith Monroe Jones passed from this life on January 19, 2026 in Pocasset, OK at the age of 64. He was born on May 15, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK to Willie Allen Jones and Cleta Virginia (Boggess) Jones.
Keith grew up in the Pocasset area. His family moved there when he was in the second grade and he lived there the rest of his life. Keith graduated from Amber-Pocasset High School in 1979. He never missed a day of school and had 12 years of perfect attendance at the time of his graduation. He played baseball and basketball in school. After High School he played on a competitive softball team with his family at Jones Construction.
Keith married his high school sweetheart, Teri Leann Horry, in 1980. In 1982, they had their son, Larry Gene Jones. In 1984, they had their daughter, Kimberly Leann (Jones) Diaz. He worked for Jones and Sons Construction his entire life. He also worked at the Amber Water Department for several years.
Keith loved to fish, fly his kite, and ride his motorcycle. He especially loved playing softball with his friends. He loved his family very much.
Keith is preceded in death by his father, Willie Allen Jones; and his wife, Teri Leann Jones; his father-in-law, Weldon Horry; and special friends, Pee Wee Unah and Donnie Shelton.
Loved ones left to remember him are his daughter, Kimberly Diaz and Robert Diaz; his son, Larry Jones; his mother, Cleta Virginia Jones; his siblings, Debbie Cochran and Mike Chinn; Ikie and Glen Grissam; Terry Jones and wife Lauri; his grandchildren, Dominick, Teriah, & Taylor; as well as many nieces and nephews.
