Keith Edward Kolodzyk, age 73 of Westfield (formerly of Milwaukee) passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2025 at his home. Keith was born in Milwaukee on April 8, 1951 to Edward and Mary (Malczewski) Kolodzyk. He graduated from Boys Tech High School in 1969 and then joined the United Stated Air Force. Following his time in service, he became a deputy sheriff for the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department; retiring in 2007 after 30 years on the force. On September 8, 2005, Keith married Mary Anderson and in 2007 they relocated to rural Westfield.
Keith was a celebrated forensic artist and loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. From his days in the Air Force, he had a great appreciation for German Shephard’s and spend many hours with his own personal dogs. Keith will be remembered for wit, knowledge and love of helping others.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mary and Mary’s son, Matt (Kristen) Homeyer as well as granddaughters: Trinity, Brooke, Harley and Riley. He is also survived by his brother, Mike (Kathy), special friends, Samantha and Steve Konrad and his beloved canine companions: Jax, Rocket, Cass and Buddy.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents and John Homeyer Jr.
Honoring Keith’s wishes, a private family service was held and he was laid to rest at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King with full Military Honors.
