Keith McAllister, age 71, went to meet his Heavenly Savior on Monday October 28, 2024. Keith loved Jesus and was an eager student of the Bible on a daily basis. His Faith to the Lord was Unwavering!
Keith was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Robert and Peggy Starett McAllister. In addition to his parents, he is preceded death by his sister Shirley Evans.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Nancy Ruth McAllister; his children: Michele Cope (Joshua), and Brandon Bailey. His grandchildren: Shannon Knight (Anthony), Leland Knight, Dominic Knight, Timothy Knight, Chloe Bailey, Dalton Bailey; his great grandchildren Noah James Kirkpatrick, Paisley Mae Kirkpatrick; his brother Wanye McAllister (Jane), his special niece Tracy, and (the late Rev. Shane Reese), and special nephew Jason (Wendy) McAllister and other nieces and nephews.
Keith was always noted as a very peaceful man who never had an evil word to say about anyone.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday November 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday also at the Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday November 4, 2024 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
