Keith L. Moore, 93, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, rejoined his dear wife, Joycelyn, in heaven on October 8, 2024.

Keith was born on December 7, 1930, in Vernal, Utah, to Lewis Henry Moore and Nora Gillman Moore. He was the second of four children. At the age of 4, his family moved to Salt Lake City where he grew up and went to school until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17.

On December 8, 1950, he married Joycelyn Tibbitts for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Southern California until he was discharged from the USMC in 1952. They moved back to Salt Lake City and Keith joined the Utah Air National Guard. He served in the ANG until his retirement in 1986 at the rank of Chief Master Seargent. Keith completed nearly 38 years of military service over his lifetime.

Keith also served two LDS service missions with his wife, Joycelyn: one year in the auditing department at the church office building and then three years at the dry pack cannery. They both also served as ward missionaries.

Keith was an avid reader and would read anything he could find. It wasn't uncommon for him to read multiple books within a week's time. He also enjoyed the tranquility of fishing and would go fishing every chance he had; even well into his 80's.

Keith loved his family more than anything in the world. Nothing brought him more joy than to spend time with his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Keith is survived by daughters Carolyn (Frank) Keele and Merrilee Melton, son Scott (Rebecca) Moore, daughter-in-law Jackie (Michael) Moore, 18 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Nora Moore, beloved wife Joycelyn Moore, siblings Hal Moore, Thomas Moore, and Kathy Winn, son Michael Moore, grandson Sean Moore, grandson-in-law Steven Tanner, and great-granddaughter Isabella Todd.

Keith will be greatly missed by all of us, but we are comforted to know that he and Joycelyn are together once again.

Keith's family would like to express gratitude to the staff and friends at Sagewood at Daybreak and also A Plus Hospice Care. Their warmth and caring efforts for Keith from the time of Joycelyn's death to the time of his own passing are greatly appreciated.
