Keith Nickell Obituary
Keith Carroll Nickell, 79, of Hamden, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Four Winds Community in Jackson. Keith was born on March 19, 1946, in Vinton County, the son of the late Chester Lee and Edna M. Nickell. He was married to the late Laticia (King) Nickell.
Keith worked for many years at Crownover Lumber in McArthur.
Keith is survived by his friend and caretaker, Judy Rose, and nephews, Ryan and Rodney Waldron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Edna; wife, Laticia; and sister, Glenda Waldron.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Burial will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Keith to Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
