Keith Ray Richard, born on September 22, 1985, in Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2025, in Groves, Texas. A beloved son, brother, and father, Keith's life was a testament to the joy of familial love and the pursuit of passions.
For many years, Keith worked as a Craftsman at Action Restoration, showcasing his remarkable skills and dedication to his craft. However, beyond his professional endeavors, he found his greatest fulfillment in the cherished moments spent with his daughter, Paylee, who was undoubtedly the center of his life. His bond with Paylee was evident as he enthusiastically watched her play girls' softball, cheering for her with all the fervor of a proud father.
You couldn't find a better Girl-Dad. He was always down for everything, from jam sessions between games to singing hype songs like "We got spirit, Yes we do, We got spirit, How about you!".
Keith is survived by his devoted parents, Gary and Cheryl Richard of LaBelle, Texas; his beloved daughter, Paylee Rae Richard of Nederland, along with her brother, Brayden Smith of Nederland; hi s only son, Tank, his faithful fur baby, his brother, Will Richard of Boerne, Texas; and his sisters, Amy Price and her husband John of Sour Lake, Texas, and LeeAnn Enderle and her husband Scott of Sour Lake, Texas. Each of these family members will carry forward the warmth and love that Keith instilled in their lives.
Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Lynn Richard; his grandparents, Dewey Mallet, Lucille Mallet, Allen Richard, and Barbara Richard; his cousin, Kevin Mallet; and his cousin, Jaime Richard. The absence of his presence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege to know him.
A visitation will be held on February 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a memorial service to begin at 12:00 PM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, Texas, 77627.
