Keith Lawrence Sheets, a hardworking and honest, husband, brother and friend, died suddenly on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at his home. Keith, 77, of Charlotte, was born May 21, 1944, in Lansing, MI, the son of Donald and Helen (Symonds) Sheets. Upon graduating from high school Keith joined the US Navy were he proudly served. Following his time in the service Keith began his career at General Motors where he worked as a Line Worker. When he wasn't working Keith enjoyed attending yard sales and visiting Naval Ships around Michigan. Above all Keith throughout his lifetime was most proud of his son Adam.
Keith is survived by his son, Adam Sheets; brother, Phillip (Claudette) Sheets; former wife and forever friend, Alana Stahl; step-son, Christopher Sand; longtime-friend, Laura Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, James Sheets.
Friends are encouraged to support Keith's family by sharing memories on his Tribute Page at www.prayfuneral.com. A graveside service is going to be held for Keith at The Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to The Eaton County Humane Society. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
