Keith A. Sparrow

Keith A. Sparrow, 96, of Saline, finished his life journey on January 26,2025. He was born in Hudson, Michigan to Austin and Florence (Laurie) Sparrow. He was an Army veteran stationed in Greenland. He married Ora Virginia Thomason in 1949. Keith was an excellent provider for his family, willing to work many hours to provide for them. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Ypsilanti after 30 years of service. After retirement he traveled to Ocala, Florida for six months out of the year. While in Florida, he was active with running horseshoe tournaments. When he was back in Michigan, he kept busy working at Hickory Woods Golf Course in Ypsilanti. After the golf course closed in 2009, he worked at Walmart in Saline as a greeter, until age 92. Keith was a member of Ypsilanti Assembly of God for many years. After moving to Saline, he and his wife attended Saline first assembly of God. Keith loved root beer floats and always provided ice cream money for grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Keith is survived by his wife Virginia; daughters- Terri Davis and Sherry (Ed) Hall: grandchildren- Dawn Brunette, Larry Davis, Lauren Davis, Andrea Hall, Matthew (Jenn) Hall and Kimberly (Devan) Zwygart; great grandchildren- Tyce, Aiden, Zachary, Annabelle, Jordan, and CJ. He is also survived by his sister Lavon Domas. Keith was preceded in death by his son Larry as well as his brothers, Dale and Lester and his sister Mildred.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
