Dwight David Smith passed away on May 2, 2025 after a courageous battle with stage 4 cancer. Dwight was born on November 11, 1952 to Keith and Edna Smith, whom preceded him in death along with his brother Carl.

Dwight is survived by his devoted wife Kathryn Farr-Smith; siblings, Keith, Diana (Don) Neil, Carol and Doug (Rosie); his children, Jennifer (Chuck), Shane (Amy) and four grandchildren and many close friends.

Dwight was loved dearly by many friends throughout the years. He loved motorcycles, fishing, music and being the life of the party. He was a Master Mechanic, owning his own shop for many years. Later in life, he delivered medications for James Pharmacy. He also enjoyed traveling and working at many Renaissance festivals across the United States.

Dwight chose cremation and a celebration of his life will be held on May 20, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at VFW Post 2898 located at 3925 West Alexis Rd, Toledo, Ohio 43623.

He fought the C beast until he couldn´t. I´m going to miss his FB messages, sharing the great bands/songs of years gone by. He was one of a kind & will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to Kathy, my sister & Dwight´s wife. Also to his family & friends. May he rest in heavenly peace & May all who are grieving his loss, be comforted by the love of our lord & loved ones.
Sincerely,

Diane Marotta
