Beverly K. Smith, age 68, of Massillon, passed away on August 12, 2025. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on October 20, 1956 to the late William and Eva {Brown} Ridgeway.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by siblings Neil Ridgeway, Shirlene Waldrep and Della Poling.
Beverly is survived by her beloved husband Phil D. Smith; children Robyn Smith, Phillip B. Smith, Curtis (Larissa) Smith; grandchildren Livi and Grace Smith; siblings Sandra Reed, Sheila Horne and Anita Dennis; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Beverly was a longtime member of Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle. She often kept in touch with her fellow church members even after her and Phil's move to Florida, through heartfelt cards, well wishes, and loving support during times of loss.
Beverly was a devoted grandma, and she loved making memories with her grandkids. Then again, family was always the most important aspect of Beverly's life, and she often dug into family history and ancestry.
Though Beverly's health kept her close to home, she reached all those she loved with her words, messages of encouragement and genuine prayers. Those she loved most will look back at her love in print, and remember her fondly.
