Debra Jean Harney

Debra Harney 59 of Paris, Kentucky, formerly of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away peacefully January 28, 2026. She was born on February 10, 1966, in Paris, Kentucky. She graduated from Bourbon County High School and received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Midway College and was a practicing Registered Nurse for 28 years.

Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and deeply valued moments with her children and family.

Debra will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the quiet strength she showed in caring for others. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

She was preceded in death by her Mother Carolyn Kerns, Sister Penny Crump, Grandparents Marvin & Christine Harney.

She is survived by her children, Heath Cord (Brittany), Matika Vanmeter (PJ), sister Kandice Wells (Scott), brother Michael Mullins (Robin), 4 grandchildren, Makayla, Leon, Madison and Carter.

A private service will be held at a later date. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main Street, Paris, KY.
