Keith Richard Wells, age 67, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Donnie Davis officiating. Entombment will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, February 14th from 4:00–7:00 PM, and again on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Keith was born in Flint, Michigan, and was the son of the late Robert Karl Wells and the late Miriam Satterfeild Stamour. He worked for General Motors for 35 years and retired just a few years ago. Keith loved the outdoors and could almost always be found outside—his family often had to convince him to come in and rest. He and his wife enjoyed caring for their small farm, where he worked with their horses, dogs, and cats.
He had a fondness for old cars and collected old coins. He also enjoyed building things, especially sheds and garages. Above all, Keith was known for his big heart. He was always willing to lend a hand to others, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Foster Wells; sons, Jason (Casey) Kuehling, Keith Wells, Jr., Aaron Wells, Jeremy Wells, Mark (Shamara) Beard, Robert Raby, and Timmy Raby; daughter, April (Adam) Glick; brothers, Kenneth (Debra) Wells and Kevin (Bonnie) Wells; along with 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
