Keith L. Zuleger, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, surrounded by love, with his children at his side. Keith was born on October 17, 1933, in Neenah, Wisconsin. He graduated from Neenah High School. Soon after high school, he enlisted in the Army where he served for two years. He returned to Neenah to marry his sweetheart, Donna Bastar-whom he started dating after high school, and they began a long, loving life together. On April 5, they would have celebrated 69 years of marriage. Those years were spent in both Neenah and Weyauwega where they loved their life on the Little Wolf River.
Keith lived a fulfilled life. He worked hard for 33 years at Banta Co as a Litho-artist and was determined to provide only the best for his family. Time with his children was very important to Keith. He spent endless hours with them playing games and teaching all they needed to know about a number of sports. Keith was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed his pheasant hunting, moose hunting in Canada and fishing on Lake Winnebago. He was happiest outside surrounded by nature and animals. His lawn was always the best on the block!
Keith is survived by his wife, Donna; his children and daughters/son-in-law: Chris and Cindy Zuleger, Dan and Mary Zuleger, and Beth and Paul Dimka; his wonderful grandchildren: Tyler Zuleger (Steph), Taylor and Mandy Page, Garrett Page, Brock Zuleger (Hailey), Matthew Zuleger, Travis Zuleger (Jaime), Jamie Dimka and Tyler Wagner, and Tanner Dimka; and his beautiful great-grandchildren: Quinn and Blair Page. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Sandy Bastar; many nieces and nephews, as well as some dear old and new friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Sophia Zuleger; his sister, Gloria Haselow; his brother, Floyd Zuleger; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Val and Virginia Bastar; and his brothers-in-law: John Haselow and Dede Bastar
The Funeral Service for Keith will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, Wisconsin 54956. The Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of the Service at the church. Interment will take place following the Service in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent directly to Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Neenah, Wisconsin - https://our-saviors.org/give/ or the Neenah Animal Shelter - https://neenahanimalshelter.org/donate.html.
Dad dedicated his life to his family and his four-legged friends. He will be greatly missed but is now pain free and at peace in heaven.

It's been nine months since Keith's passing, but old habits are hard to break. Bill and Laura Steidl still think we should make an extra dozen hickory nut cookies for Keith every time we bake them.

But we realize that Keith has met Jesus face to face. He walks and talks with Him in Heaven on a regular basis. We know this because Keith had a kind and loving heart here on earth and a soul that he devoted to God. We feel blessed that Keith was our friend.

In loving memory of a wonderful person from Bill and Laura Steidl. We will love you and miss you always. Keith was the kind of guy you wish there were more of -- a hardworking, soft-spoken and kindhearted sort of guy that makes you feel blessed just to know.

Bill feels fortunate that Keith was the person who trained him at Banta´s. Keith was good at doing lithography work and was a very patient and thorough instructor. Bill has a huge array of great memories of when they worked together. It´s accurate to say that Keith made it fun for Bill to go to work.

We will always remember the big smile Keith had for us when we delivered the freshly baked hickory nut cookies we made for him on his birthday every year. He really liked them and we´ll never make hickory nut cookies again without thinking of Keith and wishing we could share some with him.

The Canada Geese that nest on our property always reminds us of Keith. We gave him our pair of African Geese when he lived on the Wolf River, which he promptly renamed, `Bonnie and Clyde´. He enjoyed watching them and it always made us happy to hear Keith tell us `Bonnie and Clyde´ stories.
