Kelane Karl Blair

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kelane K. Blair of Chandler, Texas, on Friday March 20, 2026, at age of 65. Kelane was born on October 3 1960 in Ft. Worth, Texas, the son of Kenneth Blair and Wanda Blair. Kelane lived in Irving Texas and in 1979 graduated from Mac Arthur High School in Irving. Including numerous extended family members, Kelane leaves behind his Sister Mishae Adra of Peoria, Illinois.

Following high school, Kelane worked closely with his father working and growing in a family-owned parcel service business, Texas Parcel Services, Inc. until the business was sold and his father passed away.

Kelane also worked as a tradesman in the roofing industry and other construction related industries. He was a talented craftsman and was very proud of the quality of his work.

Kelane also was a talented country ballroom dance instructor. He spent many years of his youth as a member of some of the dance clubs in Dallas helping to teach others how to dance to country music. As a result, he formed numerous lifetime friendships.

Kelane was also a very talented artist. Although he never pursued taking that talent to a professional level, he had a real inspiration and vision for art and collected pieces he enjoyed.

After moving to Chandler Texas in 2011, Kelane found fellowship leading the homeowner's association in his local neighborhood and had developed numerous close friends within the community. He enjoyed the living on Lake Palestine.

In addition, he took immense joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for outdoor sports like hunting and fishing and enjoyed playing these activities with his friends. Kelane also enjoyed shooting guns and participated as an active member of a shooting club in which he attended numerous competitive meets. His friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure by everyone.

Kelane found his greatest fulfillment in the simple acts of generosity. He touched countless lives with his genuine kindness and open heart. He always tried to make others happy. He enjoyed cooking for others, or surprising others with small gifts, in the quiet satisfaction of a life well-lived in service to family and friends.

There is no formal celebration of life planned for Kelane, however his friends are invited to share a favorite memory or story about Kelane on the website that made him so special to have known.
