Kelli Teuscher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Premier Funeral Services - Salt Lake City on Jan. 3, 2026.
Kelli Jean Teuscher, a beacon of light and love in the lives of all who knew her, passed away peacefully at her home on December 22, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on April 18, 1957, Kelli brought laughter and joy to the world, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met throughout her remarkable journey.

Kelli dedicated an impressive 47 years of her life to Deseret Industries, where her commitment and passion were recognized with a big retirement party and a memorable plaque presented to her by church presidency. Throughout her career, she embraced each day with an infectious enthusiasm that mirrored her vibrant personality. Kelli was known not just for her work ethic but also for her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her laugh-contagious and uplifting-could brighten even the darkest days, and her friendliness drew others toward her warmth like bees to honey.

Education played a small but memorable role in Kelli's early years, as she fondly recalled a playful moment from her childhood when she delighted in a school play. Equipped with prop cans, her attachment to those props symbolized her lifelong affection for creativity and expression. Kelli nurtured this artistic side throughout her life, indulging in hobbies such as coloring pictures and making bracelets and keychains-simple gifts that she took immense joy in sharing with friends and family.

Family was undoubtedly the cornerstone of Kelli's world. She took great pride in her son, Lewis Decker, and her granddaughters, Layney and Ashtyn Decker, who were the embodiment of her love and spirit. Kelli's affection for them knew no bounds, and she often expressed how they were her proudest accomplishments. Each moment spent with them was treasured, and her legacy will undoubtedly live on through their lives and memories.

Kelli is survived by her beloved family, including her loyal son, Lewis; her treasured granddaughters, Layney and Ashtyn; and her caring siblings, Lou Harding and Sherry (Rickey) Barnett; as well as her brother, Tom Teuscher. She also leaves behind her golden doodle, baby Bella, who provided companionship and joy throughout her life.

Kelli was preceded in death by her loving parents, Harold and Alice, whose influence shaped the extraordinary person she became; and brother-in-law, Blaine Harding.

As we remember Kelli, it's comforting to know that her spirit will remain with us, guiding and inspiring us to share laughter, kindness, and love-the very qualities she embodied so gracefully throughout her life. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her legacy of generosity and warmth will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
