A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Kelly Blanchard, 59, of Eufaula, Oklahoma , passed from this life at his home October 1, 2025 surrounded by family. Kelly had bravely fought cancer twice in his lifetime. The first time was in the mid 1980's which he became deaf from chemo and radiation. This did not slow him down. He made the best of everything he did in life. Then again in April of this year cancer struck again.
Kelly was born on February 4, 1966 in Los Angeles, California to Lewis Blanchard and Judy Stephens. Residing in Eufaula most of his life, he attended Canadian Public Schools and graduated in 1984. Kelly then furthered his education at OSU Okmulgee. He was a all around handy-man doing heating/air work with his step-dad around Eufaula for many years. Kelly was a die-hard OU Sooners fan. He loved fishing and building miniature cities out of random things he would find. He was also a amazing artist. He was the one in the family who remembered everything and talked about memories all the time with his family. He was truly a kid at heart and never hesitated to seize an opportunity to play with and wrestle with his grandchildren. If you ever asked how old he was, his response would be 'I'm only 3 1/2 years old'.
Kelly is survived by his wife Debi of twenty-five years, three bonus daughters; Misti and husband Chris Coshatt, Ashley and husband Travis Haney, Stormie and husband Brandon Haney. Affectionately known as Papa Kelly to his eleven grandchildren with one on the way. One sister; Donna Stephens Lee and husband Johnny of Broken Arrow, Ok., brothers; Mark Blanchard and wife Rhonda of Shawnee, Ok., David Patillo of Waxahachie, Texas and Michael Patillo of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Eleven neices and nephews.
Kelly is preceded in death by his Mother Judy Stephens Patillo, Stepdad Terry Patillo, Father Lewis Blanchard and all grandparents. He is now with his Lord Jesus Christ and family in heaven. In the meantime, he will be our guardian angel and we will see him again someday.
