Kelly James Clark, Sr. 79, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at his residence in Louisa surrounded by his loving family.

Kelly was born August 5, 1945, to the late Theodore and Jettie Clark in Louisa, VA. Kelly accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and became a member of Divine Baptist Church in Louisa, VA. He also fellowshipped with Canaan Soul Saving Station in Kents Store, VA.

Kelly was educated in Louisa, VA. He graduated from A. G. Richardson High School and continued with service in the U. S. Army. Kelly retired from Walton Lumber Company where he worked for many years.

Kelly was known to play the guitar and various of other instruments throughout his lifetime.

Kelly was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Jettie Clark; one grandson, Kelly James Clark, III and three brothers, Robert, Lawrence and Floyd Clark.

Kelly leaves to cherish his memories: a loving devoted wife of 54 years, Minister, Dorothy Clark; his loving children, Stephanie Smith (Herbert), Kelly Clark, Jr., Lachelle Clark, Sarah Clark, and Sabrina Harris (Garard); fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pastor Fannie Henderson and Gracie Smith (Johnnie) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

To the Clark family, we at D. D. Watson offer our most sincere sympathy and condolences. Our prayer continues to be that your abiding faith in God will lend to you a measure of comfort that will strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.
