Obituary of Kelly Colleen Kiefer
Kelly (Keyes) Kiefer,46, August 14, 1977-December 13, 2023. Kelly passed away at Solvay Hospice House after battling breast cancer for 9 ½ years. She was surrounded by her family.
Kelly was born on August 14, 1977, to Dorothy (Keyes) Stibbe. She graduated from Ashland, WI High school in 1995. She married Ben Kiefer on September 30, 2006, in Duluth and went on to have two daughters She worked at UnitedHealthcare in various roles for almost 23 years. When she was in your life, she left her mark with her kindness and her willingness to drop anything and help a friend in need.
Kelly had this pulsing energy that she shared with everyone and was always willing to share that positive energy with everyone she encountered. She had a love of hiking, yoga and was in an endless search to find the best beach. She was a daughter, devoted friend, cousin but her favorite title was Mom. Her endless love will live on in her two daughters.
Kelly will be missed and celebrated by her daughters, Layla and Isla Kiefer, her husband Ben Kiefer; Her Mother Dorothy Stibbe; Her Aunts and Uncle; Deb and Will Keyes and Pat Nasholm.
Visitation will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth 4100 Grand Ave on January 13, 2024, at 2pm with the service to be follow at 3pm.
