Kelly Lee Daniel Murphy Obituary Published by Legacy on Feb. 19, 2022.
Kelly "Fletch" Lee Daniel Murphy of Oak Grove, Arkansas was born February 24, 1974, to Bobby Gene and Linda Rose Ann (Conner) Murphy in Springdale, Arkansas. Kelly passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 47. Kelly loved to work. You never had to wonder who he worked for because he was so thankful to be a part of the Stone Washed family. He traveled miles and miles doing the thing he loved. He was always a little extra happy when Loretta, his best friend and wife, got to travel along and work with him. Kelly proudly served Stone Washed INC for over 28 years. But his work didn't just stop with the pressure wash truck. There's no way to know the hours Kelly dedicated to the Carroll County Fair. The amount of steps he took and tracked during fair week became comical. But never did he complain. His most prized event at the fair was the hog show. It's what his friends on the fair board called his Super Bowl. Each year his smile on hog weight-in day was unmatched. Kelly had a way of motivating each and every kid that participated at the fair. His years of service in his day job and at the fair made such a difference for the people of Carroll County. Kelly attended New Life Church. He loved building things, fishing when time allowed, and vacations on the beach. He enjoyed any time he was able to spend with Loretta and his kids. They were his joy. Kelly was a human map – he never got lost. If he could offer a helping hand or a word of advice, he was Johnny on the spot. Kelly had one of those smiles that lit up his whole face and made you smile too. He took every chance he could to make a person laugh. He never met a stranger and always had time when you needed it. Kelly loved life and made those around him want to live life well. Kelly is survived by his wife Loretta Murphy of Oak Grove, Arkansas; daughter Kaylea Murphy and fiancé Kenneth of Kentucky; son Taiton Murphy of Oak Grove, Arkansas; daughter Sailyn Murphy of Oak Grove, Arkansas; daughter Cristen Jech and her husband Blake of Berryville, Arkansas, grandchildren Ayden and Kali Jech and one blessing, Liam Murphy, on the way; parents Bobby and Linda Murphy; siblings Shawn Murphy and wife Susan of West Fork, Arkansas, Kim Reedy and her husband Dave of Navada, Missouri, Patrick Murphy and his wife Patti of Rogers, Arkansas; many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Christopher Murphy. Visitation will be 9:00 am till 10:00 am, Friday, February 25, 2022, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel.
