Mark & Family,
I can only say that Kelly lives in all of us!! Her Spirit is with us as I write this note - she smiles and says "you always saw me smiling"! I did not know of your loss until this day because I could still see Kelly as she was to me always. God Bless you all.

Dear Mark, Conner, and McKenna.
I was heartbroken to hear about your loss. As a teacher myself, I can begin to appreciate the impact that Kelly must have had on her students. I'm far too finite to say I know what the measure of a life is, but I believe it is the impact you have on other people. This is nothing compared the role that she played in all of your lives. Mark, my father never had anything but nice things to say about you. As you struggle through this time period take comfort in your friends and family and know that you have been, and will continue to be, a wonderful father. For what it is worth, someone all the way in Jerusalem is thinking and praying for the three of you.

Wow! How blessed we are to have such terrific friends! It's my job to come up with words, but I'm really struggling to find the right way to say how grateful I am for each and every kind sentiment posted here. This has been a horrible, sad time for Connor, McKenna and me. But over these past few days, I've pointed out to the kids just how many people care about us. I think it makes things a little easier for them and that makes me feel better. I'm not sure we're deserving of all the support and kindness you've shown us. But, I do know we're grateul for it.
With loving thanks,
Mark, Connor and McKenna Mulholland

Mark, Connor, McKenna-
I can't imagine the grief you and your children are going through right now. I have 2 young girls myself and could not imagine life without them. Please know that Kelly gave unconditional love to you and them and that will never change. Bless you through this horrible time and know that God has picked a very special person to come home to him. When you are sad, just look at a picture of Kelly and know that what you had with her will always be cherished through memories and your children. God Bless you and your children and family!!

Native American Prayer
I give you this one thought to keep.
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still in each new dawn.
I hope these words bring you some comfort it helped me when my mom passed away last year.
I knew Kelly in high school my heart goes out to you and your family though this devastating time. My prayers are with you may God bring you the strength to understand why he needed her to come home.

To Kelly's Family,
I'm a single parent who lost my spouse to cancer. I'm quick to hear and see these stories of those who have gone too soon. I'm sure someone so beautiful and spoken so highly of as Kelly gave you all her blessings. I'm sure Kelly will always be with you but to make her so proud and to rest in peace Mark take care of yourself so that you can take care of those two beautiful little children that I'm sure the sun rose and set upon. Let family and friends come together to teach them about mom and of all her goodness and strengths. What a special young lady. Her eyes and smile tell so much. As I look at my children now and having lost my spouse there is nothing that would make me happier besides being here with them, but if I had to leave as Kelly did, just knowing that my spouse would be well and our children thrive would help me rest eternally until I would one day see them again. Reach for the stars in all that you do and she will always be the brightest star.

Matt and I are at a loss for words. I am saddened, I am mad, and I truly believe it is unfair. We are still reeling from the loss of my dad, Mike Prindle, so, I can empathize with everything and anything you might feel in the days ahead. I want you to know that as long as you attempt to put one front in front of the other, you WILL be able to get through this. Don't let anyone tell you how to grieve, when to grieve, or what extent to grieve. Everyone handles these circumstances differently. You are strong and I have complete faith in your ability to do what you can to handle this entire loss with dignity and continue to be the great dad you already are.

October 19, 2007
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We have been truly blessed because we knew Kelly and the joy and caring that she brought to others around her. She touched more people in her short life and her couragous battle than most people who live to be twice her age! We are praying for your comfort and peace during this difficult time and especially with Connor and McKenna for losing their Mommy at such a young age.
Love,

Mark and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of need. Although we do not understand why God has choosen Kelly, hopefully knowing the fact that she is no longer in pain will help you through this. My family it's self has lost a 4 year old this year to cancer. I pray that a cure will be found and that no more young people or families will have to go through what our families have. God Bless you all.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
