Paul Ruffo, 80, of Johnson City, NY, passed away August 25, 2025 at the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford, NY with his wife at his side. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Beverly Ruffo, his brother, Larry Ruffo, and his son, Andrew Ruffo. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathleen; children: Toby, Jonathan (Kimberly), Nathan, brother: John, and sisters: Jean Thorne and Barbara Rigoli.

Paul graduated from Johnson City High School, he attended Broome Community College, served in the US Army, earned a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Albany, and an MBA from BU. Paul worked for IBM and retired from Lockheed Martin. He was an ordained Deacon from the Archdiocese of Washington.

Paul loved music, he played as a bass guitarist in several bands. When he wasn't playing music he was enjoying it and sharing his enjoyment with others. Paul loved nature: camping, yardwork, hiking, and running. Faith in God and devotion to family were central to Paul's life. Paul was the nicest guy you could ever meet. He was kind, caring, hardworking, and he will be deeply missed, though we know he is watching over us all.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2nd from 10 to 11 am followed by the 11 am funeral mass at Church of the Holy Family in Endwell, New York.

Memorial contributions can be made in Paul's memory to Mercy House 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY.
