Kelly Plummer Obituary

Kelly Plummer

New Hampton, NH - Kelly Plummer, 50, of New Hampton, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Friday, January 2, 2026, following a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Kelly was born Kelly Lastin (Bowman) on November 28, 1975, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. At the age of five, she moved with her family to New Hampshire's Lakes Region. After spending several years in Gilford, the family settled in Belmont, where Kelly attended high school and formed lasting connections.

Kelly is survived by her husband, David Plummer; her daughter, Brittany Paquette; and her beloved grandchildren, Kylie and Julian. She is also survived by her siblings, Marvin Bowman, Wendy Clark, Ruby Lane, Tom Bowman, Heather Gauthier, Angela Gauthier, and Daniel Gauthier; her foster parents, Donna and Mark Cilley-Lewandoski, who held a meaningful place in her life; along with her stepchildren, extended family, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. While Kelly was a light in many lives, her granddaughter Kylie held a uniquely special place in her heart and was truly the light in hers. Known lovingly as Meemaw, Kelly poured endless love, time, and joy into her grandchildren.

Highly energetic and vibrant, Kelly had a heart as warm as her smile. She was known for her generosity and thoughtfulness. She had a deep love for animals and a kind heart that often led her to bring home new pets, sometimes unexpectedly, reflecting her nurturing and gentle spirit. Kelly was an incredibly hard worker. She spent much of her career in management roles, most recently at the New Hampshire Liquor Outlet in New Hampton, where she valued the opportunity to connect with people every day. Her warmth, kindness, and jovial nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Later in life, Kelly found her soulmate in David, with whom she shared a deeply loving, joyful, and fun-filled marriage. Their relationship was built on laughter, devotion, and companionship. In one another, David and Kelly found their constant: a safe harbor, a steady presence, and a profound love. Kelly and David's shared love of the lake shaped some of their most meaningful moments, including their wedding on Squam Lake, celebrated with close friends. Always appreciative of life's simpler moments, she was happiest when surrounded by nature, listening to music, dancing with David, and enjoying meals with beautiful views.

Kelly will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, her work ethic, her love of animals and the water, and the deep love she had for her family.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kelly's memory to the NH Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
