Kelly Dean Thacker, 58, of Bradenton, Florida, formally of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away on January 29, 2026, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
He leaves behind his wife, Heather Thacker, alongside his children Daniel (Kristi) Thacker, Samuel Thacker, and Emma Thacker, Gary (Kerelys) Thacker, and Kaitlyn (Josh) Billiter; as well as seven grandchildren. Kelly also leaves behind his siblings, Donald (Mary) Hall, Brian (Shannon) Ross, and sister Vickie Ross.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Thacker, and his mother, Emma Goble; as well as his sister-in-law, Tina Ross.
All services will be held back home in Kentucky. He will be laid to rest in the Annie E. Young Cemetery in Pikeville, Kentucky.
