Kelly Weicuss Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 6, 2025.
Kelly James Weicuss passed away on April 28, 2025, in Portland, Oregon, at the age of 70.

Born in Portland on February 6, 1955, Kelly spent his whole life in the Pacific Northwest. He moved to Seattle in his early years, where he built a rewarding career with Bank of America's corporate office, serving over 20 years as a dedicated team lead.

Kelly loved life in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood and could often be found browsing at Tower Records, picking up movies at Blockbuster, grabbing thai from Racha, or enjoying a Perrier from Larry's Market. His love of the city, music, and quiet daily routines reflected his thoughtful and curious nature.

In later years, Kelly returned to Portland to help care for his mother. He will be remembered for his kindness, animated humor, and deep love for his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Sianna Weicuss; grandchildren, Seven and Santi Valiere; brother, Steve Weicuss; and sister, Lenore West.

I am so sorry to hear of my cousin's passing. He came to many of our family reunions with his brother Steve. His half sister Michelle was almost always there too. Their father, Jim west, passed a few years ago. I will remember Kelly always.
