Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory - OdessaKelsie Linn Condarco, 28, of Odessa TX, passed away on June 29th, 2025, in her home in Odessa surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer.
Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th, 2025, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church at 2pm in Midland, TX. Reception in her honor to directly follow in the parish facility.
Kelsie was born in Odessa to Joe Shockey and Ester Williams on October 30th, 1996. She attended Elementary, Junior High and Highschool in Odessa, where she made lifelong friends and went on to graduate from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin with her bachelor’s degree with those same exact friends plus a few new ones. While in school, Kelsie’s love for makeup helped her secure a job working at Sephora where she ended up meeting her husband Michael Condarco after he came into the store. From their first date forward the two were inseparable and on October 15th, 2022, they were married. After graduating from college, Kelsie began her career at High Sky Children’s Ranch where she was dedicated to helping children and families. To know Kelsie was to love her. She was always there for her friends and family and her love for them all was unwavering. She will be deeply missed, and the world will be a little less sunny without her.
Kelsie is preceded in death by her grandmother Cecilia B. Ornelas, grandparents Joe & Colene Shockey, uncle Stephen Shockey, and niece Leilani Rei Araujo.
Kelsie is survived by her husband Michael Condarco, sisters Courtney Shockey and Darrian Araujo (husband Jon), brothers Justin McDaniel, Bryant Williams and Dustin Williams, grandparents David Ornelas, Johnnie Mae Williams, and Janie & Rey Saldana, parents Ester Williams (husband Earl) and Joe Shockey (wife Patricia), niece Lena Quezada and nephews Noah & Micah Araujo as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family of Kelsie wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at Texas Oncology for always treating us like family, Dr. Garcia at MCH for standing with us and assuring Kelsie that she had the choice to do things on her own terms, her physical therapy team for keeping her strong, as well as the numerous people who have reached out to give condolences and sent food/monetary donations. The love shown for Kelsie in her passing is much like the love she had for all of us and for that we will always be grateful.
