Ken Baker, 88, of Hurricane, Utah, peacefully transitioned on January 31, 2026. Born on December the 5, 1937, in Scotland, South Dakota, to Glen and Albina Baker. Ken was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather who lived a life that put his faith and family first. He married Ann Durst on August 13, 1960, in Mandan, North Dakota. Together they lived and raised 4 children in Gillette, Wyoming.

He was preceded in death by his son, John, and is survived by his wife Ann, children Jim and his wife Angela, John's wife Tina, Laura and her husband Matt, Dan and his wife Robin. Grandchildren Jessica, Eric, Patrick and Paul, Andrew and Brian, Garrett and Ryan, Ashlee, Bailee and Carlee.

Ken loved gardening, yardwork and fishing at Meadowlark Lake. In his retirement years, he enjoyed travelling in his RV. Most of all, Ken enjoyed his family. His love for his family was unending. He cherished nothing more than the love he gave and received from his 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Saint George Catholic Church, 259 West 200 North, St. George, Utah. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish, South Dakota.

In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation may be sent to: St. Joseph's Indian School, Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326 or to a charity of your choice.
