Ken Hyden Obituary
Kenneth Michael Hyden was born in Fairfield AL to Mary Irwin and John Daniel Hyden Sr. He served in the United States Air Force as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Ken married the love of his life, Shirley Gannon, and together they made a good life. He worked at EcoLab, Inc. until his retirement after 31 years. He loved his Lord Jesus and was a longtime member of West Hills Baptist Church where he served the church and his community. Ken was known for his love for his family and friends. He was also known for his laughter and making sure everyone had a good time.
Mr. Hyden is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Hyden, sons Shane (Rebekah) Hyden and Dustin (Emily) Hyden, and daughter Lori (Barry) Armacost; grandchildren: Kadance, Jack, Erika, Elijah, Silas, Eden, Bryce, and Brave. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Alice and John D. Hyden, sister Shirley Carrington, brothers Larry Hyden and John D. (Gail) Hyden, and nephew Alan Carrington.

So sad hearing about Ken. No matter where you saw Ken, he was always smiling. Loved seeing Ken and Shirley at WHBC. Good memories of their family.

My short time at the Pavilion working and Ken was one of my favorites. Called him Coffee Ken. He loves coffee and seeing him with his beautiful wife Shirley visiting with him and playing board games together, warmed my heart.
He always made sure the other gentleman who ate at his table had what they needed as well.
I appreciated his laughter and lighthearted soul.
