It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kendall Ray Watson age 50 of Prattville, on Tuesday July 22, 2025.

No formal service is planned at this time and a memorial for close friends and family will be announced at a later date.

Kendall was born in Troy, AL. October 24, 1974. He attended Autauga Christian Academy in Prattville through 10th grade, excelling in academics and baseball. He transferred to Prattville High School for 11th and 12th grade where he continued his dedication for academics. Upon Graduation in 1991, Kendall attended Troy State University on campus.

Kendall had a deep love far Bass fishing and Golf, often spending his days in the solitude of nature fishing on the Alabama River, Gantt Lake, or weekends Golfing at the Prattville Country Club with his dad. He had a love for the outdoors and deer hunting with his cousins. Kendall was a quiet, easy-going young man and always had a beautiful smile and hug for friends and loved ones. He was baptized and gave his life to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior when he was 12 years old.

Later in life Kendall worked as a heavy equipment machinery operator for many years. This work included land clearings, building house pads, driveways,etc. His favorite work demonstrated his skills and expertise in building ponds and swimming pools.

Though his time with us was far too short, his love of nature, his family and his beautiful soul will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Kendall is survived by his mother, Jeannie Watson of Andalusia, his father Elbert Ray Watson (Michelle) of Prattville, a brother Joseph Scott Watson of Prattville, and a nephew Joseph Scott Watson,Jr. of Fairhope, Alabama. Kendall is also survived by his Grandmother, Elizabeth Watson Wise, of Andalusia, plus numerous aunts and uncles , and many cousins on both sides of his large family! Preceded in death was his Maternal Grandmother Mary Wise Hughes and paternal grandfather Ray Watson of Gantt Lake.
