It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kendra Kay (Reder) Barba at her home in Midland, MI.
She is survived by her spouse Garen Jones; the loves of her life, her sons Robert Moyer (Anna Grigsby), Salt Lake City, Utah, Jake Moyer (Tiffany Novacek), El Segundo, CA, and Owen (Julianne) Barba, Midland, MI; her Mother Catherine Sue (Ratajczak) Reder; her siblings Rachelle (Garrett) O'Brien, and Garrett (Sarah) Reder. She also leaves behind Nieces and nephews-- Katie O'Brien, John (Jack) O'Brien, Lily O'Brien, Claire O'Brien, Eve Reder, Ruby Reder, and Fletcher Reder; Aunts and Uncle--Patricia (Tom) Osborne, James (Deb) Ratajczak, and Tonja (Kenneth) Reder; first cousins-Stacie (Tad)Pulford, Aaron (Cammie) Smith, Jenny Ratajczak, Jessie Ratajczak, Josh Ratajczak, Josi (Tyler) Gurnee, Kim (Reder) Olivieri, and Ashley (Logan) Lauzon.
She was preceded in death by her Father Wayne Robert Reder, her sister Dana Catherine Reder, her grandparents Chet and Ellen (Bowden) Ratajczak, and Marion (Mike) and Shirley (Show) Reder, and Uncle Kenneth M. Reder.
All through her elementary school years, she was involved in dance and gymnastics at Bay Valley Dance and Gymnastics. She qualified for state finals in 1981. She graduated from Western High School in 1987. Kendra participated in the Miss Auburn Pageant in July 1987. She received her Nursing Degree from Delta College with the Pinning Ceremony held on April 24, 1999. She assisted in establishing Auburn Physical Therapy, in Auburn, MI. She loved to paint and often times embellished her paintings with flowers and gems. She loved to read. Her idea of a relaxing time was a good book and a beach somewhere, and cooking and baking. She loved to make the birthdays of her three sons special, by making or supplying their favorite foods. Kendra loved to sing and listen to music.
Kendra's family will receive friends for a Memorial Service at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel, 209 S. Huron Road, Kawkawlin, MI, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Shelterhouse in Midland, MI.
Kendra LIVED WELL, LAUGHED OFTEN, AND LOVED MUCH. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
