Kenneth Allison Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Justen Funeral Home & Crematory - McHenry on Mar. 17, 2026.
Kenneth Joseph Roland Allison, a man known for his boundless passion, loving heart, and adventurous spirit, passed away on March 15, 2026, in Elgin, Illinois. Born on August 31, 1962, in Gary, Indiana, Kenneth lived a life that was as vibrant and dynamic as his personality.

From the very beginning, Kenneth was a beacon of joy and creativity to those around him. His artistic talents were evident from a young age, as he loved to draw, capturing the beauty of the world as he saw it. His art was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of the love and attention he poured into every aspect of his life.

Kenneth's zest for life extended well beyond his art. He was an avid kayaker and water sports enthusiast, embracing the thrill of the waves and the serenity of the open water. Friends and family would often find him paddling along a peaceful lake or skillfully navigating the rapids, always with a smile on his face.

A hardworking man, Kenneth poured his energy into every task he undertook, whether it was perfecting his bowling technique or cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers. His competitive spirit was always friendly, and he relished the opportunity to share these moments with those he loved.

Above all, Kenneth cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He is survived by a family who adored him: his mother, Nancy; siblings Cindy (Eddie) Bucar, Debbi (Richard) Briggs, and Jeffrey (Chris) Allison; his nieces and nephews Cody (Courtney), Dillon (Liz), Cameron (Darnell), Madison, Carley, Haley (Corey), and Matthew; and eight great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.

Kenneth's legacy is one of love and enthusiasm. He approached every day with a warmth that drew people to him and a sense of adventure that inspired them. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit will continue to live on through the countless memories he created.

As we bid farewell to Kenneth Joseph Roland Allison, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. His was a journey marked by laughter, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. Kenneth's story is not one of sadness, but one of a life well-loved and a man who truly made the world a brighter place for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
