Kenneth Harry Almberg passed away on March 21, 2025 at his home in Eagle, Idaho surrounded by his loving family.
Ken was born in Los Angeles, California on July 1, 1950 to Gust and Margaret Almberg. He spent most of his years growing up in the Seattle area and graduated from Evergreen High School and the University of Washington before starting his career as a business executive.
Ken's passions included assisting struggling companies, mentoring young people, sharing the word of God, and humanitarian work with the Nalidi Orphanage in Uganda.
Ken was a loving husband to Kathryn Almberg and a devoted father to Alexandra "Lexi" Stokes and Kristian Tannler Almberg. He led his family with love and passion.
Ken enjoyed spending time with family outdoors, playing sports, skiing, mountain biking, and water skiing and later supporting Lexi and Kristian in their sporting endeavors. Whether in the riding arena, on the pool deck, ski slope or baseball field, Ken could always be found grinning ear to ear offering support, love, and fatherly advice.
Ken wore many hats, all with style and grace: son, baby brother, father, papa, cheerleader, coach, horse groom, jump crew, counselor, and therapist.
Ken is survived by his wife of 33 years Kathryn House Almberg, daughter Lexi (Sean) Stokes, son Kristian (Emma) Almberg, and 2 grandchildren Aidan Stokes (3 years) and Rhys Stokes (6 months).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Christian Church 100 S. Short Road Eagle, Idaho 83616 with a committal service to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery Boise, Idaho. Condolences may left for the family www.bowmanfuneral.com.
