Johnstown, PA – Kenneth A. "Ken" Altemus, 64, of Jackson Twp passed away, December 11, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. Born December 31, 1956, in Johnstown; he was a son of the late Albert W. and Dorothy F (Thompson) Altemus. He is also preceded in death by brother, Clinton Altemus; sister Lisa Altemus. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Kim A. (Hill) Altemus, whom he married, November 1, 1975; children, Carrie Parke (Robert), Johnstown, Michael Altemus (Laura), Portage, Tracey Chapaloney (Jason), Johnstown; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild expected in June; sister, Linda Thompson, Johnstown, twin brother, Keith Altemus (Sue), Windber; and several nieces and nephews. Ken worked at Dietrich Industries for 20 years and most recently at Performance One in Stoystown as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, picnics, and raffles. Friends and Family will be received on Wednesday December 15, 2021, from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Grandview Cemetery with Pastor Donald Peters. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc.
