Kenneth R. Aukerman

Kenneth R. Aukerman, known affectionately as Reds to his friends and loved ones, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on July 10, 1962, in Vallejo, California, Kenneth was a person who left a lasting impression on those he met throughout his journey in life.

Reds was the cherished companion of 21 years to Robin, who stood by him through life's many adventures. He was a beloved brother to Patricia A. Kane (the late Thomas) and Sandra L. Rogers (Robert). Though he is now reunited with his late siblings, Margaret Read and James Aukerman, and his parents, Ernie and Dolores Aukerman, his memory will live on through the many nieces, nephews, and their families who survive him.

After graduating from high school, Kenneth's path led him to various endeavors. Kenneth was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Holy Crusaders Council #9193. He was also an active member of the American Poolplayers Association (APA), where his love for the game and competitive spirit found a home among fellow enthusiasts. Reds, with his friend Blackie, was a proud member of the Doberman Wrestling Duo, bringing enjoyment and laughter to many. An avid shooter and hunter, Reds found peace and excitement in the great outdoors. His love for nature was also evident in his enjoyment of gardening, a hobby that allowed him to cultivate beauty and tranquility in his own backyard. Those who knew Reds understood that these activities were more than pastimes; they were reflections of a man who appreciated the simple pleasures of life.

As we bid farewell to Kenneth R. Aukerman, we celebrate a life that was lived with authenticity and heart. He approached life with a unique perspective that both challenged and enriched the lives of those he encountered. Reds' legacy is one of perseverance, passion, and the ability to find joy in the journey, no matter where it led.

The visitation for Reds will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ with the Mass beginning at 11:30 AM. Following the Mass, we will drive in procession to St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ for the inurnment.
