Kenneth Harold Back

Kenneth Harold Back, 91, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born May 6, 1931 in Paintsville, KY, son of the late Custer and Ova Conley Back. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sandra Satterfield Back. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Barker Back; daughter, Brenda Amon; son, Kenneth Raymond Back; grandson, John Amon and a brother, Bill Back.
Kenny honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Bentonville CCCU and was very proud of his 65 years with the IBEW Local 683. Kenny graduated from the former Mayo Vocational School. His favorite past time was fishing and in his younger days, hunting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Linda Back, Karl (Angie) Back, Elizabeth (Robert Lynch) Beasley and Gary (Sandra) Beasley; grandchildren, Steve, Chris, Karla, Brandon, Jonnie, Jennifer, RD, Ben and Shelly; great-grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Layla, Parker, Connor, Kade, Brantley, Annie, Sarah, Brooke, Rachel, Sam, Lucas, Landon, Cullen, Olivia and his sister, Susan Stewart-Holden.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester. Pastor James Lanham will officiate. Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Queen City Hospice or Bentonville CCCU.
