Kimberly Ann Baker, 62, of Manchester passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 at her niece's home in Ewing, KY. She was born July 7, 1963 in Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert and Opal Hunt Carpenter. She was the widow of the late Randy Allen Baker, who passed away in 2023. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Beverly Smith, Robin Mitchell and Libby Lane; niece, Heather Carpenter and 2 nephews, Timbo and Justin Mitchell.
Kimberly was a STNA for 25 years. She loved to cook and she made sure that everyone had a meal when they visited her. Above all else, she ADORED her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Hollie (Deron Ross) Herrington; grandchildren, Andrew (Olivia Helton) Herrington, Ayden and Angel Herrington and Addyson Ross; brothers, Timmy (Amy) Carpenter, Robbie (Lynnie) Carpenter, Avery Carpenter and Steavie (Becky) Carpenter as well as several nieces and nephews.
Kimberly will be cremated. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Monday, October 13, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.
