Kenneth Ray Bartley, 56 years of age, of Oakwood, VA, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Born October 17, 1967, in Grundy, VA, he was the son of Juanita Ratliff Bartley and the late Jessie Stanford Bartley.
Kenneth was a member of Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle and working on small engines. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.
Survivors include his mother Juanita Ratliff Bartley of Oakwood, VA; wife of 34 years Anna Marie Deel Bartley of Oakwood, VA; daughters Courtney Baker and husband Michael of Oakwood, VA, Shanna Stevens and husband Daniel of Oakwood, VA; sisters Mary Bartley, Brenda Bartley, and Linda Bartley all of Oakwood, VA; grandson Bryson Stevens; and baby canine friend Cooper.
Funeral services for Kenneth Bartley will be held Monday, August 19, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home, Keen Mountain, VA with Pastor Dale Blankenship and Reverend Roger Null officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday after 6:00 p.m. with an evening service beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Kenny was one of my best friends growing up in the camp. We'd go fishing all the time or ride our dirt bikes all over the place. We'd go hunting or just talk for hours...When I left Oakwood I took precious few memories with me but the ones of our friendship were the best of those memories.
