We were saddened to learn of Ken's death. He was a friend who we enjoyed visiting every time we were in Florida. As a fellow sailor, I enjoyed an outing on his sailboat many years ago. Ken was a member of the United States Power Squadron and I know that he was active in his leadership at his local squadron as well as in the district area. I remember that he was a craftsman who worked in wood and metal, and that he designed and built many unique projects that he was proud to display.
Our thoughts and prayers go to Connie and all of his family members. He was a unique person and we were all lucky to have known him for some of his amazing 103 years.

I first met Ken during a WWII tour of the 8th Airforce bases in England. My daughter Laura and I had many delightful conversations with him during the tour and enjoyed hearing of his experiences that he had during his service in England with the 8th Army Air Force. We will miss him. Rest in Peace Ken!
