Kenneth Leroy Broxholm

Kenneth Leroy Broxholm, age 88, of Hillsdale, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. He was born May 12, 1937, in Pulaski, MI to Richard and Marjorie (Campbell) Broxholm. He married Joanne Wixson on June 16, 1962, and she preceded him in death on January 17, 1975.

Ken was a 1956 graduate of Litchfield High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he worked as a purchasing agent at Union Steel in Albion and later retired from American Tooling in Grass Lake. In his free time, Ken enjoyed tending to his garden.

Survivors include three daughters, Kerri (Ivan) McMullen of Litchfield, Kimberley (John) Playford of Villa Rica, GA, and Cathryn Broxholm of Hillsdale; grandchildren, Kevin (Yuki) Christopher, Bryan Christopher, Tyler (Emily Derfler) Clark, Morghan (Shayne) Mickels, Kenneth (Lindsay) Playford and Baily (Jason) Gould; and great-grandchildren, Maddox and Charlotte Mickels, Alice and Priscilla Gould and Miles Playford.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joanne Broxholm; son, Christopher Broxholm; and brother, Robert Broxholm.

Funeral services for Kenneth Broxholm will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with his daughter, Kimberley Playford officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Litchfield. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
