Funeral Mass for Kenneth Joseph Bubonics, 78, of Willowick, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20. 2022, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland.Kenneth passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, in Cleveland.Born Jan. 21, 1944, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 51 years.Kenneth was a U.S. Army veteran, who loved fishing and all sports. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a member of American Legion Post 678, VFW Post 3863, Polish Legion 31, Catholic War Vets, Willoughby Eagles 2300, and Plumbers Union Local 55.He was the loving husband of 51 years to Pat A. (nee O’Connor) Bubonics; loving father of Ed J. (Sue) Bubonics of Solon, Amy E. Bubonics of Eastlake, Mike S. (Jenn) Bubonics of Concord Township and Aaron J. (Carla) Bubonics of Reminderville; cherished grandfather of Joe, Sammy, Charlie, Mikey, Allie, Brooklyn and Bryce; and was the brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend of many.Family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
